Paul Addae
Head of Research
Paul leads the research function at Urban Insight Collective, bringing extensive experience in health inequalities research across community, academic and system level settings. He has worked with a wide range of populations, including young offenders, people with complex needs and individuals with long term managed care requirements.
Paul has led and delivered qualitative and mixed methods research focused on lived experience, trust and health systems, including projects exploring COVID-19 impacts, medical scepticism and health activism in south London. He has managed funded research in partnership with academic institutions and provides strategic oversight across evaluation design, methodology and quality.
He also delivers training to community researchers, students and institutional teams, and is committed to ensuring research is rigorous, equitable and shaped by the experiences of seldom heard communities.
