    Community researchers from the communities concerned are carrying out fieldwork on maternity experience. They are recruited, trained and supervised as part of the delivery team.

    What we intend to achieve

    • Evidence on maternity experience disaggregated far enough to show who is actually being missed.
    • Findings returned to the women who gave them before they reach any commissioner.
    • Recommendations a trust board can act on, with the people who made them still in the room.
